1989- Toyota HIACE WAGON

The HIACE WAGON that can be called the originator of cab over type 1BOX car has a long history of going back of the root until about 1967. A present model receives a lot of minor changes by the sale in August, 1989 since then and ripening is attempted.
The feature emphasize a wide feeling such as large radiator grilles and headlamps in externals. The headlamp, the fog lamp, and the back-up lamp are multi reflector type. The power train of the wagon becomes only gasoline 4-speed AT of the inline-four 2.7L. A wide view door mirror, the water-repellent glass, and the front seat besides ABS and a dual supplemental restraint system airbag are equipped with the seat belt with pretensioner & force limiter on the safety side. The manual leveling mechanism for the headlamp optical axis adjustment was adopted, all cars were equipped normally with the high-mount stoplamp, and safety was improved in November, 2005. Moreover, the HDD navigation and the DVD navigation were set by the option. The design of the front grille and the seat epidermal (tricot) was changed besides the variation was expanded in August, 2007.
